My son's bicycle was stolen from Old Sacramento on November 13, while he was at his friends birthday party inside Joe's Crab Shack (all the boys and a couple of parents rode their bikes, and locked them up outside the restaurant). We were notified while at our daughter's soccer game, so we had our neighbors take her home, and my wife and I rode down to skid row (near Loaves and Fishes, off of 16th). While rolling through and intersection in the area (yes, we were on our bikes) we spotted the bike, being ridden by a "homeless" guy. He split, we pursued, I cut him off and my wife pulled him off the bike by his backpack. Bike recovered! Just thought I'd post one success story.

Oh, Great. Johnson gets Graswich. This is obviously a political front to placate all those critics who love Sacramento more than Graswich (and voted 'no' for Johnson as mayor). There are too many iffy, smelly, politically motivated stunts from the Johnson camp for this to be a legit "turnaround" by Graswich. How about a real story on the Johnson administration: explain why long time, powerful position holders are leaving his employ, citing his personal behavior as the cause (http://cbs13.com/rivers/art.director.resigns.2.1126382.html).
