all interesting, I just don't see what a corporate aesthetic is and why it is detested. seems like in the operations of a facility, aesthetic decisions are made based on any number of factors from individual preference to necessity, with corporate protocol being one of many. the ideals of both owners and community are constrained by material circumstance in any case, perhaps less so by corporate resources.

seems inevitable that this area will be redeveloped--no certainty of when, though. the open space south of Cap City near C St. would be perfect for dislocated industrial concerns--definitely no place for a residential community. hate to see much of the blue-collar work in the central city leave for good.

the purpose of community is so we may participate in seemingly meaningless activities, such as sports. "man enters society for mere subsistence, but he stays for the good life."
