I love the fact that this book has a picture of the "old State Fair" on the cover!

Since its opening in 1968, our Cal Expo has survived a number of "sell" attempts. I predict it will once again cling with its usual tenacity to its current site.

The sad thing is, whether we hate kids or smoking or whatever, we are still in bondage to our negative feelings. The desire to avoid the hated object takes over our lives, and we are no longer free to be in the world, wherever our circumstances may find us at any given moment. And that kind of slavery is what I hate the most...
