Sacramento Kings fans will gather Friday evening at Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s pool to celebrate the Sacramento Kings staying in town for another season. Several special guest speakers are expected to join in the festivities as well. Hot 103.5 will provide the music for evening and the pool will be lit up bright purple for the Kings. There will be raffle prizes including tickets to the Fray and Train, spa treatment as well as food and a no-host bar at the Coconut poolside bar. Attendees are encouraged to wear their purple and get ready for an evening of partying and dancing at the first Thunder Valley pool party of the summer. Kimberly Dubach of East Sacramento has been named a finalist for the cover of the first issue of Baby Lifestyles Magazine. The image was taken at her baby shower for her daughter Se'Bella earlier this year. Baby Lifestyles Magazine is a creative resource for future mothers throwing a baby shower, decorating a nursery, shopping for a baby and just excited about motherhood. "Se'Bella's baby shower was a great day," said Dubach. "I was inspired by a lot of the information and articles on the Baby Lifetstyles website, so it would be an honor to be featured on the cover of the magazine's first issue." Lyon Real Estate announced today the winners of its inaugural Lyon Cares philanthropy award. Lyon agent Kim Pacini Hauch of the Sierra Oaks office earned $3,000 for Maryhouse, Teresa Lynch of Lyon’s Folsom office earned $2,000 for her charity of choice - the Grace Foundation and Nancy Reid also of the Sierra Oaks office earned $1,000 for Breakthrough Sacramento. The Lyon Cares Award is a monetary donation made to local organizations as voted on exclusively by Lyon agents and employees. Agents and staff nominated local organizations that they were either members of or active volunteers with. The executive team of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, led by General Manager C.J. Graham, is celebrating the holiday season by delivering over two tons of food to the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services and distributing holiday meals to families in need at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Food Bank’s Saca Community Learning Center location at 2469 Rio Linda Blvd in North Sacramento. The donation includes 150 turkeys, 350 hams, 500 cans of cranberry and 500 pumpkin pies. The food is enough to feed approximately 500 families or 2,000 people.
