About Me

I am currently serving my third term in Congress. It is my duty to honorably represent the people of Sacramento in Washington, D.C., and bring federal resources home to California's Fifth District. I sit on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Committee on Rules. Both of these assignments provide me with wonderful opportunities to further Sacramento's interests in Washington. Everyday I am working with my colleagues to forge a new path forward for the American people, and I am there each and everyday to make sure that we fulfill our responsibilities to you. We have been making great progress, but our work is never done. I take great pride in Sacramento, and serving you well.
