Sacramento is a joke when it comes to live shows. I moved here from L.A. and was born in Denver. I guess I was just spoiled.

His album is named "Light" ("Bright side of life" is from Rebolution) and by CHP estimations there were over 10k people who attended the festival. Also, to be frank, Sacramento rarely has world class talent come through, at least in the reggae and hip-hop genre. Matis himself admitted he has never been to Sacramento besides a small album promotion at Dimple Records a few months back. The only "big" shows that do come through are at Arco...a horrible venue for a concert. If you want to see anything decent in this area you have to make the trip down to the Fillmore in San Fran. Props to the Jewish Federation for making this happen for Sac.
