Well, I stand corrected...What a shame!
I checked out the the Marshall School /New Era facebook page and there is absolutely no back up to the statement Red Lotus is closing. Wouldn't it be nice to let the owners of Red Lotus make that announcement if it's true instead of doing them the grave disservice of spreading rumors of their closure? I'm just saying....
And the plantains? We love the plantains.
Hey, I saw this 'gang' heading north on16th one evening a couple weeks ago...The looked so silly and yes , COOL, that I had to take a photo with my phone and send it to my boyfriend. Unfortunately I've already deleted it . I 've got to say that the spectacle of 30 plus people on mopeds made my day.
Julianne, Do you know how Kai feels about cats?
And so was 1991...My punk rock boyfriend's studio had a pull out bed. I've got to admit I was really creeped out sleeping in that bed, but I loved the studio despite the critters.
This is a joke...Isn't ' Place it on Lucky Dan' strictly a humor site? Pretty funny though.
This is great news! Driving to BevMo or Total Wine in Roseville hoping to find some of these brew is like rolling the dice...Our only sure bet has been the bay area. It's wonderful to hear we can pick up some of our favorite craft beers just a bike ride away.
Thanks for showcasing this local treasure Brandon.
This a great article Kati....Welcome back!
Great to know Mr Hoffman...
Also , be really careful what you sign when dealing with a gallery...Read any contract thoroughly. You'd be surprised what galleries try to get away with when it come to dealing with things like sales tax and rights to your work.
Great article Angelo. Thanks for sharing the seamier aspect of driving a cab....
Love the photos!
I too remember more late night cafes in the 90's than we have now...We certainly need them to make a come back. I love the idea of these guys being open late enough to get coffee and dessert after a movie at the Crest. Best of luck to them!
I look forward to checking out the pet and reading this article and every week...How come there's no there's no photo of lady?
I'd love to see a Pangea in mid town....And I love to see locals replacing a chain. I guess I also have to back track a little on my previous comment too, and agree with Aaron. We have no true sports bar in down town/mid town...I hope the De Veres and the Wong family can deliver an exciting new twist to the sports bar concept.
A sports bar? Really?
Conversation about: Did you work at Camp Sacramento? If so, we want to hear from you
One of my earliest memories is of Camp Sacramento. My brother cried the whole time we were there. He was such a baby... Well I guess he actually was. We were about 3 and 4. I remember watching my parents dance at the lodge.
