About Me

Growing up, I had no idea I'd one day be a benefits consultant. But it's a blessing because I love helping employers successfully navigate their benefit issues, and advocating cost containment and consumer choice in healthcare and employee benefits. I've worked in the insurance industry for 16 years and am currently an employee benefits consultant at Rood & Dax Advanced Insurance Services, Inc., concentrating is in the small group market place, where I develop strategies and implement benefits packages based on the unique needs and budget concerns of small business owners. I live in Folsom with my husband, our 2 teenage children, and the family pets. I'm an avid reader and enjoy cooking up feasts for family and friends, as well as working in my new garden. I serve on the local board of directors for the National Association of Health Underwriters, as well as my local Toastmasters club, Toast of the Town.
