About Me

I am an independent musician who sings, writes and performs in Sacramento along with my saxophones. I am the opening act at Jazz on j - 6pm on Thursday nights at Shenanigan's, 705 J Street - check it out and come by, this is a great scene http://www.jazzonj.com Recently I have been on Good Day Sacramento, Sacramento and Company and have played the National Anthem at a Kings game on my tenor sax. April 7th, 2011 I get to do it again for Opening Night at the Rivercats! I also perform at many private venues and events. One of the nicest experiences is getting to play for children and at retirement homes. My music is hard to classify because I create songs from funk (think Prince) to classic soul (think Isley Brothers), to covering Maroon 5 and Amy Winehouse. I perform solo as well as with my wonderfully talented musician friends I've made along the way, dubbed for now, Ava's All-Stars
