Liberal media bleh bleh bleh.. Is the OPINION section more liberal? Perhaps. But the NEWS section? Not really. The truth is the Bee does more investigations than anyone else in the city. I just read what amounted to a PR campaign for Booker's Gin here on the SacPress. The Bee has editors who would have slashed it, refused to print it. The Bee is the flagship paper for a billion dollar company--and a paper that is still making money, albeit their profit margin is decreasing. People who predict doomsday for the Bee and wish to see it wilt away, well, I have a hard time believing your wisdom, and a harder time believing that you value free speech and accountability.
