If Mr. Knapp cannot seem to enjoy Journey with it's current lineup, he would do well to refrain from any such discussions on this topic. He is obviously not a true fan of the band and saying what he has said only serves to ATTEMPT to kill off the joy that millions of fans around the world are enjoying. Obviously, people of his ilk are closed minded. If Mr. Knapp had an open mind and would actually take a look around, he would recognize that Journey is on a roll and doing quite well with the fans RIGHT NOW. Mr. Knapp, you call Journey a tribute band? Not hardly! Neal Schon, Ross Valory and Jonathan Cain are all still with the band. All of those members are from the 80's heyday. The Journey franchise is still intact. So what if a lead singer turned his back on the band? He got replaced, just like any business that wanted to go forward would do. You give Steve Perry way too much ownership in Journey. Last time I checked the Catalogue is still owned by the Journey collective, not Steve Perry. Mr. Knapp, if you can pull yourself together and break out of your deluded thinking, maybe I'll see you at a Journey concert sometime. And, finally, let me ask you this; Were you pissed because you actually did go to the Sacramento cancert and did not know that Steve Perry had been replaced? tsk tsk tsk. If so, your own fault for not following the news....over the years. Anyway, this is really your loss, not ours. We are fans and we are many. We will be just fine and so will Journey.
