This is highly concerning as a parent of two school-aged children enrolled in public schools, which are paid for by all our property taxes. As a family, we have been very concerned about the quality of public schools in general, especially after spending a semester in a private school in Paris, the comparison is hardly worth mentioning. However, as a working single parent, I'm wondering where I'm going to send the kids (day camp) so I can get my work done and not take vacation early and ruin our already made summer plans!
