Nice interview, Mark! Glad they improved the video/audio quality of these!
Wow, great story and epic photos!
Good story Mark! Always a pleasure to read. The photos are great, John. Nice variety - love the shot of the girl getting a baseball tossed to her. Sweet!
Insight Coffee Roasters is a nice stop, but they'll need to get some real bike racks installed by Saturday.
The Cats / A's exhibition game was fun - seeing the former River Cats in A's Green was very cool. And they played great. They looked like they were having a blast - who wouldn't? Living their dream. Great article, Mark. Enjoyed the extensive quotes from the players.
Great story and some epic photos!
Mark - another great, in-depth game report! Great quote from Marcus Thornton. Steven - awesome photos! I especially like the shot of Tyreke fighting off the defenders.
Great photos, Kati! Lots of awesome shots!!
Another great game summary, Mark! Wished I could have been there!
Great write-up, Mark! Lots of perceptive commentary, much more than a scorecard report.
Good article and photos! I really like the shots of Tyreke doing his acrobatics.
WOW! is right - beautiful photos, Kati!
Enjoyed the article! It's a good reminder that parking enforcers are just regular folks doing a "real job." I don't get parking tickets very often, but then again, I just pay the right amount to begin with. And whenever you ride a bike, parking is free!
I'm an avid cyclist and occasionally use a sidewalk when the street is too dangerous (e.g. on Freeport Blvd near 11th Ave). It takes a certain amount of care and common sense when riding on a sidewalk, It amazes me how many people, especially in midtown, ride their bikes very fast on sidewalks. Pedestrians have no idea a cyclist is coming up from behind and the cyclist has no time to react if the pedestrian changes their direction (sidestepping dog poop, walking to a parked car, etc) Seriously, if you have to ride a bike on a sidewalk, slow down and warn people when you are approaching from behind. It may not have to be the law, but it makes sense.
Great photos, Mark!!!
Great photos! I really like the Black & White and sepia treatments. And the cell-phone-talking-cowboy is classic!
Great headline! (it hooked me, so to speak :-)
Mark, this was a great set of articles - I really liked the numerous quotes from Rickey and the River Cats players. It really added to the story.

Beautiful photos. One of the best bits of photo advice I've heard is, "After you think you've got the shot, turn around!"
