This is the 10th year me and my dog have run in this event. My dog (Pinto) is quite the celebrity here in Sacramento. He's been in The Sacramento Bee and on KCRA Channel 3! He was also featured in Sacramento Magazine and Dog Fancy Magazine last year. We both look forward to this race every year. In the 10 years we've competed in this race, we've won it twice and placed 2nd five times! It is such a joy doing this race every year. Perhaps the reason it is such a favorite of mine is because we have done so well here. I am not sure if we'll do it next year.
