Ahhhahaaa. I'm sorry, but you did notice that Elizabeth took the Executive Director position on January second, and this story was published on the fourth. Please give her at least a week to meet with every single residential and business entity before you grill her for ignoring you. As a resident who bought a home here over ten years ago, and a business owner who has been in business in midtown since 2004, with no complaints from residents, I am excited to welcome Elizabeth to our community!
Thanks for all the kind words you guys!! Our opening night went really well. Thanks to everyone who came out. For those who missed it come by soon! You can visit our website www.bowscollective.com, for updates on art shows, events, and sign up for our newsletter there. We just launched the site, so we are adding content all the time. Hope you can come by soon, the patio is pretty dreamy:)
We really couldn't be more excited. We have such a great crew of people working with us on this project. Richard St.Ofle and Jesse Vasquez have been amazing in pulling together the gallery, and Clay Nutting has been working with us on the business side, generating a clear plan for awesomeness. Woo hoo!! We are about to make a deal for the food part and I cannot wait to blast about it once it is finalized. This has been such a harrowing process jumping through mad hoops, but we are making it happen. Yay! I love this town!!
YAY!!! So stoked for you, Vanessa!!

Whoa, um no I have not yet had a meeting with her. I'm planning on it though. I think your eagerness to be negative is very sad. The way Midtown and Downtown are laid out is in simple 40x80 lots, most buildings, structures, take up that entire lot leaving no room for parking. That is the fault of planning from before and around the turn of the last century. How would city planners know then how addicted people would be to their own vehicles today? Anyway, we put in bike racks for thirty bikes in front of our building, and many nights they are full. That shows me progress. I'm sorry your experience in Midtown is so dreadful.
