    <content type="text">The Sacramento History Museum (formerly the Discovery Museum) building may be new, but it was modeled after the old City Hall and Waterworks that was built on the same site in 1854 and demolished in 1913. The building was also Sacramento's main jail, and when City Hall and the water works moved out, the jail remained.</content>
