Draft Anne Rudin for Mayor!
Anybody watch the Sacramento Kings game last night? Kings win!
The City is now gouging some of our neighbors in Hollywood Park.
Here's a great article that ran in the News & Review after the last "improvement". http://www.newsreview.com/sacramento/down-on-the-street/content?oid=664566 Johnson’s corner at the Freeport Boulevard/21st Street fork overlooks what has become one of the most confusing and potentially dangerous intersections in Sacramento. Heading north on Freeport Boulevard toward the railroad tracks, drivers are confronted with a bewildering array of crossing gates, traffic lights and signage. Speeding, southbound cars careen toward them from at least two directions: from the sharp corner where Freeport Boulevard exits Land Park and over the hump of the rail crossing. The ability to turn left off Freeport to the new two-way section passing through Land Park has been added to the mix, creating yet another hazard. Throw in a flotilla of pork-chop shaped concrete islands to channel the flow, traffic signals that are seemingly set to random and three fairly busy pedestrian crosswalks thanks to the light-rail station and McClatchy High School, and you have the makings of a first-class clusterfuck.
I was really disappointed in the so-called improvements on Freeport the last go round. Heading South stopped on the RR tracks doesn't seem like an improvement to me. Most of the folks who live in our neighborhood agree.
Our fireplace was blazing last night. Home Depot and Hollywood Hardware also sell firewood in small bundles.
I was at the Bill Maher concert, too. Great show! Nice write-up, Mary. I think Bill Maher is a comedian who provokes a lot of anger. Just scroll up.
More of a Pink kind of guy, huh?
Other old school jukeboxes include Zelda's Pizza and Roma's Pizza on Fruitridge. Zelda's always seems to be out of order.
I wanna ice dance with Sandra Sheedy.
I was there when he took a bite of the hot dog. Probably enjoyed it as much as medicine. I also was lucky enough to ask him a question. I guess we'll have to wait four years for the answer. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR-owyqSJGk
The line for free hot dogs was longer than the line for Space Mountain.
These scandals and mismanagement are the exact reasons why I voted for Measure B.
Out of touch. Anybody see Bonnie Pannell saying, "The ladies need a raise!" Uh...the lady she was speaking of makes approx. $190,000 a year.
We have a real tree. But the day after Christmas it's...Get that firetrap outa here!
Nice action photos!
I know who I'd like to see in the Dunk Tank.
I think somebody must have taken a leak on Suzanne's azaleas.
Doing cocaine in your 60's leads to concert cancellations.

Oh crap, are these signature gatherers going to harass me as I flee the Supermarket?
