Good job on your story Mr. Fogle. Question.....Why did you leave out the work of the adjoining agencies on the outstanding property save? Your fist picture shows Fire Engine 19 right in-front of the entry to the fire building. This Engine is apart of the Sacramento CITY Fire Department. In this County, Black Turnouts are worn only by City Firefighter and Metro uses only Tan Colored (good way to identify). This apartment exist in the County of Sacramento but with boundary drops, City or County units can be "first-in" to areas around the Borders of the City and County. Make sure when you talk to the PIO's (Pebbles for Metro and Doucette for City) you get this information to accurately tell the story. A good Idea would be to get a list of all the Engine, Truck, Medic, and Battalions, and whatever respective Departments they are apart of. Everyone looked like they did a good job and worked their rears off, however, They " ALL" worked together as a team.....Not just one Department taking care of it all as Mr. pebbles made it sound.

Jim....just catching up with the comments....well written and clear that the Department is working hard to open and honest. It is a shame there are paranoid people like John out there who when in trouble will call a Union Fire Department and demand help.... Help he will get but what a puttz. His view of Unions is pritty one sided and harsh.....It looks like he is a broken record on the Fire Department articles!
