Conversation about: Haunted HPI Ghost Tour

Impeccable character development, I especially like the struggle between the protagonist and antagonist. This story illuminates the dynamics of human interaction and the struggle to do right, though temptation is ever present. You have dissolved the cliche and typically predictable manichean struggle of right and wrong and have found a voice in contemporary circles. Keep the fantastic work going.

Throw in some semicolons and it'l read like a post modernist novel with a magical realism slant by Rushdie. This is the true and unpolished gem of community journalism. Do you do the press releases for Lynden LaRouche per chance?

Conversation about: Arizona: Groups continue to protest Sac City Council

I don't get it. Nothing about this guy or his mission makes sense. Gerald Klass, how does one boycott the city one lives in? Further more how does one boycott the businesses within the city one lives in? Do you drive to the surrounding suburban areas for gas and groceries? Is Safeway taking a hit from your refusal to purchase some Snackwells? Do you buy online? What guidelines do you have for buying outside of Sacramento, driving to the next county, or the closest suburban area?Since when are boycotts even effective any longer for hurting business? It just sounds like thinly veiled racism, xenophobia, and maybe even a bit of reactionary nativism. Say to yourself " I am boycotting where I live" Politics used to be interesting, but unfortunately the Klasses of the world seem to be turning it into a post modernist twilight novella written by English as a second language learners on various inhalants. When did making sense cease to be a requirement for anything? Man up and deal, you make no sense.

I've seen Lynden Larouche supporters do this at a town hall meeting Dan Lungren was holding. But they sang for about twenty minutes. I just thought they were insane.

Conversation about: Richard Trainor investigative journalist to promote new book at Harlow's

Duly noted, it happens from time to time. There are going to be other guests, Tony Passarell &Ross Hammond. I guess music, I didn't bother with them. The price may be steep but Trainor having emailed and spoken with him is a wealth of information and he some pretty interesting tales from the dark side of journalism. Its really investigative journalism at its finest. Its not a bunch of hyperbolic op -ed pieces about legislation or the externalities of prop13. The political figures and their total disregard for those they are paid to represent in Paradise Lost will make you dry heave, and run to the capitol with pitch forks and flaming sticks. Get the book show support, this guy has earned it.
