    <content type="text">Hadn't seen that study before by the Brady folks, but after looking at it I am pretty skeptical of their claims.  If they think that accidentally shooting your girlfriend is the same thing as murdering a cop - then I don't know if they should have a seat at the table with the rational adults when discussing gun control.

I lived in Oakland for almost 20 years, and you have to be a politician (Perata) or work for one (Jerry Brown's old aide Jacques) to get a permit there.... does that mean people don't carry guns? Hardly!</content>
