Did you take these photos?
The incident Sean is referring to can be read about here: http://www.sacramentopress.com/headline/39306/Local_Organizations_ StepIn_to_Help_River_City_Food_Bank_Recover_From_Massive_Fire
How late are they staying open now on weekends?
Image 4 is awesome! Did you take these photos?
This is my second year as a student at Sac State. It does seem like there is a portion of the student body that does not engage a whole lot in their education, maybe they are not paying for it. There are overcrowded classrooms, and some of the facilities are quite old. However, out of the twenty or so professors I've had there so far, I personally have been disappointed with maybe two. All of the others have been really engaging and I've gotten quite a bit out of my classes. Although the tuition may be lower in California than in other states, there are a number of students who were not prepared for the increases, especially within a short frame of time, and are now struggling to find the extra money to pay.
I know that myself and others are extremely grateful for the Javalounge and the all of the support that has come with it toward local musicians.
Another idea is to have a small, red "clickable" disclaimer that is always at the bottom of any Sac Press page. (Again, when someone clicks on it they would be taken to a mission statement, history, etc.)
A pop-up that appears the first time someone comes to The Sacramento Press briefly explaining how the site works seems like a good option. It would provide clarity for everyone planning to use the site as a resource or for writing purposes. Everyone will have a clear understanding of how the site works and then make choices about how to use it while being fully aware of the repercussions. Without the pop-up, it doesn't seem like everyone takes the time to read up on what the site is really about, and misunderstandings are the result. At the bottom of the pop-up there should be a link that a visitor can click to read in more detail about the purpose of Sac Press, its staff, its history, etc.
Putting the Arena discussion aside for a moment, what did Mayor Johnson have to say about education and public safety?
The production of plastic water bottles needed to bottle the millions of gallons of water would also have environmental implications. The Save Our Water website can be viewed at the following link: http://www.saveourwatersacramento.org/ This is the link to the initial press release by Nestle involving its plan for Sacramento: http://www.nestle-watersna.com/pdf/NW_Open_New_Sacramento_Facility_072409.pdf This is the link to Nestle's Sacramento project site: http://www.nestlewatersca.com/sacramento/
WOW. This provides a surreal look at the charm and beauty of East Sacramento. The wooden chair and bathroom shot one are especially catching. But really, the use of the lighting and space is consistently great throughout the whole story.
Where were these dance groups from? Mainly the Sacramento area or were they from other regions, too?
Nice photos! Where were the dancers performing?
Are there limitations on the number of fish each individual are allowed to catch in the ponds on a given day?
How did this work, was the film played on the screen at any point? Was the musical accompaniment live or played on speakers? Where did people dance?
Is there a date yet for Tasha's last day? I would love to attend.

I'm really happy to hear about this! Where is the Moonfaeries store located -- is it incorporated in MSN's location. It would be great if another branch were started right in midtown.
