Thanks for providing us with more information, Victor!
Great article, Cheya. Do you happen to have links for those Penn State studies?
So far his main basis of support is his personal circle of friends that know about the project and help him put up the magnets. I believe this article is one of the first to shed light on his actions, and hopefully he will gain more support in the future as the project evolves!
This article was a joint effort with Jenn Walker.
Great article, Lexie. I thought I was familiar with the fashion scene in the midtown/downtown area, but it seems like there is more I need to check out! I'm curious, were you able to do more historical research about fashion before this decade in Sacramento? Was fashion always a part of Sacramento, or did it trickle in with the advent of boutiques etc.? It would be cool to see if seamstresses and tailors still exist amidst these young designers and entrepreneurs. Did you come across any?
I agree, great insight into the thought processes going on behind this!
I'm glad that the pictures are uploading in order now, that will be helpful in following the story visually!
Jennifer, thanks so much for the clarification on numbers! It's good to hear there was a great turnout. Do keep us updated on future events and let us know what the final head-count is!
I am quite familiar with the Edible Schoolyard in Berkeley and the amazing philosophy guiding students to learn about gardening and their consumption habits. I didn't know that there were two of these in New Orleans, that's great!

Bill, I really appreciate your thoughts on this article. I also appreciate the perspective and background that you bring as you are familiar with the history and politics of the region. The people I interviewed shared some of your concerns about the coverage of the events. It was certainly a unique opportunity to be able to sit down with the delegates, and I only hope more people want to hear their stories.
i like hearing about the benefits of front yard gardens, especially about the reduced water consumption. Do you have a link for the ordinance itself?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, Arif. I would like to get your international perspective on this issue. Do these accounts seem to reflect what you have heard about the events?
Thank you very much! I must say that I cannot fully be sure of what his intentions with the referendum were. From what I understand through research and stories, Zelaya wanted to allow the people of Honduras to eventually have a say in what their young constitution says. Now the changing of the constitution is a far removed process from the initial survey on June 28, and would be up to the people of Honduras to change, not Zelaya. If you have further questions, please comment!
Thank you very much, Bill! It was, and is, a great learning experience. Do you think you would share what you have heard about the situation?
