As a family, we have been very concerned about the quality of public schools in general, especially after spending a semester in a private school in Paris, the comparison is hardly worth mentioning. However, as a working single parent, I'm wondering where I'm going to send the kids (day camp) so I can get my work done and not take vacation early and ruin our already made summer plans! Both are dramatically down due to declining property values and the state budget crisis. These factors will severely impact education funding for many years.
