I would like to clarify a couple statements from the article, because there seems to be a few misunderstandings... 1) I Do Not have or Need the Ca State ID Card (SB 420). I Always tell patients to carry a copy of their doctors recommendation on their person when possessing or using medical marijuana. That is all you have to have ant with it you have the doctors info to verify the M.D. as well as the patient! 1) Landers said. "Police are the only ones to usually check ID. I carry my card, my application and my doctor's recommendation to stay safe. I don't even reduce them; I leave them as full-size papers." 2) We have had a great dispensary raided by the DEA even here in SACRAMENTO so it's NOT just the careless that have been the targets. Misinformation, Informants, and any Patient who might get excessively angry, know they have an outlet to complain and even get sweet revenge thanks to the DEA 2) Only the most careless dispensaries get raided, according to Landers, so for the most part clubs are only partly worried about federal agents breaking up the show. And finally I would like to thank our District Attorney, Sac PD, Sac Sheriff's, Sac DEA, Sac City Council, Sac County Board of Sups, and the community for trying to care about patients and be educated about the plight of patients! Dude, it does take more than 45 days to write a good marijuana law. If we move too fast, we will get a bad law that will not work for the patients. I have worked on many of these laws for our side and there is a hell of a lot to. Why would you call her "Disingenuous, Narrow Minded, and Lazy or all 3?!?!?!!?!?!?! That is a horrible thing to say this about the person, who was just assigned the job to look into something she which she knows nothing about. Markes, your comment is narrow-minded! At least we are trying. Were you there testifying to try and help with the facts and process?? I did help and will continue to help patients fight for their rights and needs! It is Real Easy to sit behind your computer and BITCH about someone who is trying to do something. How do you know its "illegal"? It very well may be a law-abiding citizen whom is legally able to cultivate and possess marijuana for medical use. I am a caring parent and grandparent but it can be going excessively far for a nosey neighbor to treat their neighbor as a criminal when they just might not be. Do not be so quick to judge others actions just because you do not agree, understand, know, or give a damn. I am a safe marijuana grower and a good neighbor. Had a neighbor before who kept reporting me in the manner suggested because I would not sell him marijuana because I do not sell marijuana. Several taskforces later turns out he is a rapist we found out when they opened up Megan's law to the public. Be a good person, talk to your Neighbor, and find out if they are doing things legally before you report a legal activity and get your neighbor treated like a criminal. Police have shot Kids during raids and commonly shoot your dog. Be a good neighbor and parent!!!
