Timely, well-written and interesting. But where is this?
Could you also mention where this information is from/can be found and when more up-to-date contributions will be visible?
So what does that really amount to-- eight new holes? four? two? An exposed electical line on the outside of a brick facade? Shocking! Never been done before! It'd look horrible! Seriously damage the historical value of the building! How dare they? Honestly, no. This is not a big issue. It is not a health or safety issue and it is barely a preservation issue. If anyone is going to take this and run with it as a serious disregard for neighbors' concerns, it should be the customers, who-- forgive me if I'm wrong here-- are probably neighbors, and would like the sign to go up.
Conversation about: Second Saturday vandalism data analysis
Agreed, Ben, but shinier, more-robust analyses usually only make rough data worse. Half the issue with vandalism is that people AREN'T around to catch it. Also, data here is better for your purposes, I think. (it includes times, and goes back to the summer months): http://maps.cityofsacramento.org/website/sacpd/ The one he recently posted is just prettier.
