Conversation about: 10 for '10 : A look back at the top Sacramento concerts of the year

it's obvious that Aaron is a lover of live music, so I would encourage him to take in more local acts. perhaps he does--and none simply made his top 10 (except the Neil Young tribute show, which doesn't really count). anyway, touring bands are great and it's a pleasure when the aforesaid acts pass through sacto. but don't forget the locals!

Conversation about: Mayor Kevin Johnson introduces "Rules of the Game" for new arena

As a reporter, don't give the mayor too much. The NCAA has stated for years that ARCO Arena is outdated; K.J. is just re-framing that to feed his current agenda. For me, the news here is old. It does indeed all boil down to "How are you going to pay for it?" but K.J.'s "rules" don't really address that question. Honestly, I think it's all a show so that when the Maloofs move the Kings, he can at least have a scapegoat and possible salvage re-election.

Conversation about: Enjoy the Great Food at Sarus Before the Restaurant is Gone

Kooyman don't be a tool. I ate spring rolls: ordered veggie but got pork. Then i had a vermicelli dish that was dry and cold with pallid "lemongrass" chicken. Ho hum. Good Vietnamese? How 'bout Pho Bac or Pho Saigon? Or is that too Baja Fresh for you? ... No. 2, I know they don't get their eats from the farmers' market at Sarus; I've seen the minivan pull up and unload the goods from Costco. Pound the pavement, do the legwork, let me know, aight? Maybe we can split hairs over some Jimboys, OK bro? Seriously ... don't you have a ABC license to protest :)
