I have been intrigued by the the underground passages upon learning of them in 1980,when I moved to Sacramento.I enjoy our city's history period! My mother was raised here in the 30's-50' then moved for many years.Eventually she came back "home" and I guess I found mine.
I would love to see more preservation, but its seems to always be to little to late. Its encouraging that some effort is being made,I thought the city had already abandoned any ideas of saving what is left.

I really wanted to go to the Ball Drop, had I been alone i probably would have. I really was'nt expecting the Ball Drop to be spectacular,I was curious to see who would show.Sounds like a real turn out.I was in Old Sacramento with my teenage son, who's only focus was to meet his girlfriend.Either way I guess I would have enjoyed the night. The cool part is because we rode in(bike & skateboard),so we did'nt have to fight the traffic or worry about parking. Happy New Year!

I"m totally fed up with "street calming"concept, and have been since the begining. It can be so difficult navigating through some areas of downtown that people choose to avoid it entirely.Heading east from around 12th and Cst gets me really pissed off. It's hard to give others accurate directions too.I like one-way street's,and two-way streets are fine.I dont like the1/2 street closures,or buses & bikes only, etc. When will the city just leave it be?

I just like playing the game.I consider it the best game for my money, thus far.I would love to have my favorite songs on the game, but I don't always get my way. There are several songs that I dont care for that are fun to play.Guitar Hero is not for everyone, because not everyone knows how to rock!

I 've attended SS possibly four times since it began.I have been a Downtown & Midtown resident since about 1990,but never made it to SS.I did alot of talk, but never the walk.I was suprised at the amount of peopleI saw this July and August, but equally dissapointed about the art I did not see.I felt I was being herded like cattle at the stockyard.I enjoy eating out,but would enjoy the art more with a more relaxed atmosphere.I would like it to cover Sunday as well. It would be SS & S.
