Hey Rik, I booked the show - thanks for covering it! Mind if I steal a photo for my blog? (audiographer.wordpress.com) Linked however you like, of course.
Maybe listen before you judge by looks!
I'm so bummed I missed this! Where was it announced? Or was it just word of mouth? Also, unless they actually covered Dolly Parton's version, Cake's "Jolene" is their own.
I took all the photos - praying I didn't crash while looking into the camera instead of the road. I got lucky!
The ride is on this year. It's started at the California Stage on R and 25th. But I forget where I read that and I can't find any official information!
This is my family's favorite place to get take-out. They update their daily menu here: http://tulibistro.com/menu/
Hey, Jon! Nice to see your here.
We're all in a journalism class at Sacramento City College, and we have an assignment to post a speech or meeting story on here for the Journalism Open contest. Some people chose to cover the same meetings, not knowing that we would be publishing the stories later.
Conversation about: The Causeway Classic moves to art
The Second Friday Davis Art About is not a new thing, and I doubt it was an idea stolen directly from Sacramento -- tons of cities do monthly arts walks. And the art is most definitely not "contained to one art gallery." There are 25 cafes, restaurants, museums, boutiques and salons that participated in this month's activities, showing art and music inside and out. Are white people not allowed to play mariachi music? http://www.davisdowntown.com/events/2nd-friday-artabout
