I was inspired by a large (40 ft tall) rocket shaped Bufano sculpture of Madonna & Child at the City of Santa Clara, CA when I was 12 years old. (It is not there anymore.) I said to myself this is what I want to do too, create large scale sculpture. Long story like Tony's, life got in the way. I did art training in the early 90's at Cabrillo College, Aptos. I still like large scale sculpute, but I have the time and money to paint, so I do that. Now, I paint figurative water colors on newspapers- making the temporal permanent. I am also happy to see when dreams become joy making.
