Fairytale town meets Harry Potter

Photo essay by Dan Ward It’s that time of the year when the candy comes out, people become scarier and Fairytale town puts on a show. This year in Fairytale Town the magical wonders of Harry Potter arrive to showcase its magical spells and large amounts of candy for the children. The Harry Potter theme will be taking place for a total of four days. The days are October 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th. The park event will be 5pm till 9pm on all four days. Tickets are for sale at www.fairytaletown.org. Children can enjoy various attractions and displays at this year’s event. Morris Baseball league moves to new heights

Photo essay by Dan Ward   Baseball in Sacramento is extending its reach to a higher medium. The Morris brother’s baseball league is now producing podcast shows, along with launching their clothing line online. The Morris league started up back in 2007, when the two brothers were playing catch at the Sacramento State dorm fields. While seeing others play they decided to start up a pick-up game at a local park. From there they saw the potential to do more than just play a game here and there. Sacramento State arson stunt still under investigation

Photo essay by Dan Ward   Sacramento State University was involved with three fires yesterday afternoon. Two of the fires were held in buildings while the third one was in a trash can by the tennis courts on the campus. According to Sacramento State officials, both buildings were to be shut down while the fire investigation team scurried through the remains to find if any evidence were to remain. With that being said it left students in the mist about if there were going to be Fridays classes held in either buildings. Reports went out stating that both buildings will be open by 8 am for students to recover their belongings. This morning classes were held in Mendocino but not in Maripos

Sacramento State arson attack.

     Photo essay by Dan ward Today on the Sacramento State campus two buildings were caught on fire. The first building was Mendocino hall. The building recorded the fire to start around 2:58pm. The fire took place on the 4th floor. Reports show that it started in a chair and the faculty and students were to be evacuated quickly. A professor and floor Marshall Matthew Mills helped a good majority of the students and faculty evacuate the premises while the fire engines arrived at the scene. There were no injuries however was student was caught in the fire but was quickly rescued. Shortly followed by the first fire another fire was broke out in Mariposa hall.
