About MeRaised on a ranch in Riverside, CA, off to San Diego Military Academy, San Diego State. Adult life spent in Orange County building several businesses. Eventually produced seminars and trade shows within law enforcement and public safety arena. Came to Sacramento in 1994 at the invitation of Attorney General Dan Lungren to volunteer at DOJ providing civilian oversight of VCIN (Violent Crime Information Network). California had suffered unacceptable deaths of law enforcement officers in the line of duty at the hands of violent convicted felons the previous year. I found Sacramento having a lack of concern over public and police officer safety. Crimewatch was established to be a voice for the city's police officers and concerned citizen. Since 2001 I serve as CEO of a California non profit public benefit corporation proving emergency services to injured military personnel returning home and military families in times of crisis. |

On September 25 at 12:37pm I posted the following to the City of Sacramento's Facebook Page. STOP THIEF!!! Yes! City of Sacramento, I'm talking about you! Where is the credit due property owners from the Utility Department not providing services you continue to bill monthly. You bill "The Claw" as one line item and "Street Sweeping" on another. NEWSFLASH! The City's street sweepers have been MIA for months at a time. Our gutters fill with dirt, trash and leafs. Left in place, it turns to mulch and then dust. It goes airborne, we breathe it and it building up on our building's exteriors, patios and roofs. This photo is evidence we have to do the City's job about every two weeks on "Stree
Thank you for telling your story Ma'am and thank you Karen for showing compassion when so few have. I've worked with many victims of violent crime over the years; some being hate crimes. A few have resulted in long prison sentences for the animals who brought pain and emotional damage to their victims. I urge you to reconsider filing a report, online if necessary. I'll help you if you need it. You can email me privately at webmaster@crimewatch.us. With too few resources to document these cases, we still need to see them reported. Investigation are becoming more difficult with limited police resources. In the words of an SPD source that knows: "We still have no traffic unit or pop to speak of. Detectives are at 1/3 strength. All the Community Service Officers are GONE and our civilian Crime Scene Investigators are gone." Add to that the number of police officers actually patrolling our streets, it's even tougher: We reported on that to Council three sessions ago: 31 for day shift, 40 for swings, and 28 for late watch (graveyard). After weeks of trying to mobilize neighbors to show an ounce of backbone to stand up against a city government that disrespects our police and having failed yet again, I'm just getting to your story. What do I see? APATHY and infighting?
Road rage? Gangsters? Investigation are becoming more difficult with limited police resources. In the words of an SPD source that knows:"We still have no traffic unit or pop to speak of. "I don't see much of the caring more for others side, nor do I want to." Speaks volumes - Thank you. Maybe the three thumbs down took time to view my profile, self-serving as it may be? :-P
A well thought out and reasoned advancing of the conversation Mr. Mullins. Thank you. I wish the council did that more often, especially on budget matters. This community had no say in the spending of $9.35 million last night, the Mayor was MIA again, along with Midtown's council member, Mr. Hansen.
Conversation about: Sac city school board votes to shut seven schools
This will make many 290 PC registered sex offenders very happy. They can now move into neighborhoods they were formerly prohibited from due to school proximity. Could one of them be your? Welcome to Sacramento where criminal rule.
