About MeAlthough a long time resident of Sacramento, Vincene was born and raised in Washington, D. C. and received a B.S. degree from Virginia Union University. Vincene is no stranger to City Hall or the Sacramento community. Prior to coming to Neighborhood Services, she served as the Chief of Staff to Mayor Heather Fargo and has worked in various positions in the offices of the Mayor and City Council for 17 years. |

Hello community members and partners throughout the City of Sacramento. As you may know, the City’s approved Fiscal Year 2010/11 budget for Neighborhood Services shows a reduction of2.00 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff and our team has lost two Neighborhood Resources Coordinators due to layoffs.Due to loss of staff, Neighborhood Services is rearranging the areas in which we all work. The next City Management Academy Alumni Meeting is Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 in Room 1217 of City Hall (915 I Street) from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. All Alumni are encouraged to attend the meeting.
The Neighborhood Services Department invites you and your children to join us this Friday from 10am to 3pm for a fun and safe Halloween trick or treat celebration at New City Hall (915 I Street). Ghosts, goblins, and characters of Halloween will roam the passages of City Hall giving away sweets and treats. We look forward to seeing you.
