I am appreciative that they are limiting the commercials, I hate radio commercials and the End has tons of them! Keep posting stories Radio Matthew, Im keeping tabs!
This is the most adorable story ever posted... think I am going to go adopt Dip Stick now, before anyone else does!
Haha, only soda drinkers enjoy free sac press stickers. It has been very wet lately, but it is sometimes really fun to just get soaked out there.
Yes, I have made afew errors, I meant gargoyle's and I found out that it is located in Curtis Park and not Land Park. My msitake guys, but it is still quite an amazing sight.
Well thank you so much for answering my question, very informative.
Adam, I totally understand. I too was that oblivious driver, until I started riding everywhere, now I find the streets much more dangerous than before. I have been almost hit a couple of times now. Thank goodness for my helmet, otherwise I wouldn't feel that safe.
I find that a display of aborted fetus' would be quite offensive, and this is quite the opposite. In fact they are trying to avoid the need for an abortion. But I do agree that it is a ploy to stir up some controversy and become more noticed than they already are. It drew me into the store. As an update, it says: "Give love get love, Practice safe love, Armani Exchange supports national AIDS fund." Maybe they aren't trying to cause a stir, and are just in support of national AIDS fund. Though, it got us talking.
I really enjoyed learning of a local designer. I only hope I can see some of the items before the move to LA. Great story.
I feel so informed now, thank you. I thought for the longest time I was riding around on a fixed gear bike, now I know that that wasn't even remotely true.
I actually happened to be driving down J st at the time, and saw several bikers weaving dangerously through the cars. I think it is really fun that they do this, but wonder if they ever worry about their lives. I saw one biker make a swift right turn on a side street to save his life, because a car completely oblivious to him, made an even quicker right turn. It scared me, but I secretly want to try this alley cat racing out.
I myself have wanted to use this exact alley, but on numerous occasions have run into that no outlet sign. I am not sure what frustrates me more, the fact that I keep trying to use the same blocked alley, or the fact that I cant get to where I am headed quicker.
I wondered the same thing. I know that there are potholes all over the city that are big enough to bug me when I am driving, and they are certainly a danger when I am out on my bike. Hopefully those potholes will be patched, even if it is one at a time, because they are driving me CRAZY!
I will be outside of Viewpoint Gallery on J st. with a Sacramento Press table handing out free hot chooalate. If any is interested, please come by and say hello.
Great story. I was there and thought the Stomp performance was awesome.
This is such an awesome idea. We need to do this!
Colleen, they do in fact roll out a red carpet for me when I start walking toward the front door. I can get you a VIP table if you'd like. Oh just kidding, but i am pretty sure that they know me by my first name. Shall we have a girls night at 524... oh I think so!
Ben- They are apparently called pomelo and are a giant grapefruit. It is apparently the largest of the citrus fruits. Dale- That is awesome information and such an entertaining story about the overprotective squirrel. I am glad i am not the only one who has noticed these.
Conversation about: Storm damage this morning
Im just worried about the owner of the benz up top... hope no one was inside.
