I am a homeless person. I am respectful of the suggestions offered by this person, and I agree that "some" people would abuse the priveledge. Rather than squash it altogether, why not have policies in place that will "weed out" the abusers, and continue to help those that will truley benefit. I too pay taxes and would like my tax dollars to be spent only on true solutions to the homelessness that often occurs to good, decent, and hard working people. I would like someday to rebuild my business, however, that may take a little more time than the present shelter programs have to offer. A program like this one would be ideal for me.
