On Thursday August 25, 2011 the NBE Downtown networking group had a guest speaker and his name was David Kenward. David has an unusual business name and he calls it The Mental Coach. So what does The Mental Coach do? The area that David focuses on is helping anyone solve a problem where their thinking is preventing them from being successful or holding them back. David does not restrict his practice to just sports men and women but he reflects the power of what he does and how he helps by using their situations to show how he helps others. Are you being investigated?

On Thursday June 02 2011 the speaker for the NBE Downtown networking group was Virginia Pelton. Virginia is a PI or Private Investigator. The work she performs includes background checks for employers, tracing voice, text and phone calls, tracking down people that owe or are owed money and performing surveillance. Need a small loan for your business?

On January 21 while attending the combined Cordova Community Council and Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce luncheon, I spoke to Jane Daly, CEO of the Rancho Cordova Chamber and a great person to get to know. Daly comes from a banking background and so has some pretty good insights on small business loans. During my chat with Daly, she let me know about a loan program for small business owners that I think is worth passing on. The loan program requires completing the usual extensive paperwork and is available for loans from between $5,000 and $50,000. If you are looking for a small business loan for your business and live in the Rancho Cordova or Folsom areas, contact Daly or one of her

Ready for business in Rancho Cordova

At the beginning of January, I was invited by a colleague, Ken Tough, to attend the January 21 meeting that is a combination of the Cordova Community Council and the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce as a guest. The Cordova Community Council has been around since 1959, and one of its primary functions is to bring the Rancho Cordova community together and promote the city. It works closely with the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce whose main function is to help and promote the businesses located in Rancho Cordova. For the last four years, I’ve been a member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and thought it would be fun to see how they do things in Rancho Cordova. And the news
