Thanks to all of the fancy new financial instruments available (Synthetic Collateralized Debt Obligations anyone?) and of the course the recent recession, municipalities are finding it more difficult than ever to sell bonds. Muni bonds were once considered some the very safest and most boring investments around, but now we are seeing cities and counties defaulting on payments. I agree Ben, we should encourage more people to 'Invest In America' and buy govn't bonds, national or local. It just may be a bit harder to do. Although, some kickass 1930's social realist style posters telling citizens to buy bonds to help the motherland would probably do the trick.

I feel like those could be business cards that Homicide Investigators would leave with potential witnesses at a crime scene. I like this idea. On a related note, I would very much like to see more local crime reporting on the Sacramento Press.
