Walk ’N Rock for Kids will be returning to West Sacramento’s Raley Field on Sunday for its third year, featuring a fundraising walk in the morning and concert in the evening, with rock band KISS headlining. 400 teams and 6,000 people participated in last year’s “walk” of Walk ’N Rock for Kids. There’s still time to sign up for this one.You can create a team or join an existing team. Sign up at walknrock.org. Registration is at 7 a.m. Sunday at Raley Field.The walk starts at 8 a.m., leaves Raley Field and continues over Tower Bridge to the Capitol, then heads back to the ballpark. Heart, Hagar co-headlining Walk 'n' Rock For Kids

Ann Wilson loved watching her son play "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock." Heart's lead singer is honored to have her song "Barracuda" featured in the video game, adding that it's a good way of passing music on to younger generations. "I have a son who's 12, and when he was 10 it was hard for him," she said. "But he got into it. He got a chair, took his shirt off, got his guitar on and he got good. The "Journey" was on at Raley Field

"Journey" headlined this packed house fundraising event at Raley Field Saturday night, all for the kids. The event was a fundraiser called "Walk 'N Rock For Kids". Guests enjoyed a gourmet meal on the ball field, an auction and an incredible concert. Hosted by Art Savage, of Raley Field, the event began with an early VIP access and dinner. Tables were set for the VIP's at the front of the stage and a full gourmet dinner was served. The dinner was prepared by several of the areas celebrity chefs.
