Making It Purple Reign Goes For Repeat In Xoso Dodgeball Championships

A second consecutive perefect season slipped through Purple Reign's fingers in their second to last game of the season. The defending champion's seventeen game winning streak was snapped on October 28, falling 4-3 to Midtown Division champions, Beans and White Rice. XOSO Sports Crowns Its Summer Dodgeball Champion

Megatron's Jock Strap finished off a perfect season on Wednesday night, the second perfect season in XOSO history. Despite being short handed all night, MJS defeated Beans and Rice in the opening round, in a harrowing victory that took the favorites to the bring of elimination in overtime before they were able to finish strong and secure the victory. In the second round MJS had an easier time with Ball Sac who had dispatched Team America in their opening round match. eWomenNetwork to hold accelerated networking dinner

Mayor's inaugural party

While watching Mayor Kevin Johnson speak in clear but emotive language on television, it is clear he is ready to start his new position with a full head of steam. With the American flag draped behind him he said, "We did it, I'm ready and I know you are too, and that's what it's going to need to take place. Incredible public will amongst the citizens, needs to occur for us to make real change in Sacramento."  Dennis Dong is a seasoned presenter at Pecha Kucha Night in Sacramento. Here he shares his experiences in an interview, as told by Colleen Belcher.
