Sacramento Red Cross responds

Kathy Hunn, a Sacramento Sierra Red Cross Chapter volunteer, assists one of the people affected by an early morning  duplex fire in Clarksburg, south of Sacramento. Hunn and another volunteer provided assistance for food and helped find housing for the seven people unable to return to their home due to fire, water and smoke damage. A chimney fire started the blaze in one side of the duplex around 6:20am. Hunn and the other volunteer both live in Clarksburg and arrived at the scene quickly. Hunn, whose husband is on the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Dept, says there hasn't been a structure fire in Clarksburg in over 10 years. About the American Red Cross: The Red Cross is a charitable
