City Council to decide on green waste bins

The Sacramento City Council will decide Tuesday night whether to ask voters to use bins for their green waste. In a 1977 initiative, Sacramento voters said the city could not establish the use of bins for residents’ green waste. The City Council meeting will be at City Hall, 915 I St., at 6 p.m. Kathleen Haley is a staff reporter for The Sacramento Press.
