Market robber gets LoJacked

A 44 year old Sacramento man robs a convenience store but gets dooped by technology Wednesday afternoon. Sacramento, California According to Sacramento Police Department spokesman, Conrad Vonschoech, 44 year-old Colon Carmelo is the suspect being held for the robbery of the Fast Stop Food Stores, at 5600 Wilkinson Dr. in South Sacramento Wednesday afternoon. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail at 7:32PM Wednesday evening for felony robbery. Per police radio traffic Wednesday afternoon, at the time of the robbery, the store clerk was able to insert a tracking device into the money bag before handing it over to Carmelo. Broadway China Buffet robbery, employee injured

Sacramento, CA- Around 9:30 P.M. Monday night, Sacramento Police received a call that the China Buffet on Broadway at 14th St. was robbed by three men. Per Sac PD dispatcher, an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. One of the employees was sustained minor injuries when he was hit in the back of the head by one of the suspects. He refused transportation to the hospital. The suspects fled the scene in a white sedan and remain at large.

Is it called for?

I live in the natomas area, so i'm right off of truxel. My neighbors house got robbed just yesterday 12.17.08. The home owners were so angry and devastated that their safety deposit box was stolen, the break-in was told to have gone on in daylight, and robbers are getting bolder every day. Our neighborhood has started a neighborhood watch program, but it really has not been put into full act yet, we have only had one meeting. There are so many kids that live in the area of Natomas that run around every day and are in dangers eyes.
