Midtown and Downtown Sacramento, get ready, as Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern California will be painting the town red for the second annual Red Shoe Crawl. Participants can pick out a pair of red shoes, in honor of Ronald McDonald’s trademark footwear, and join the event on June 26 for the premier gourmet food crawl in the Sacramento culinary district. Not only will participants have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of culinary delights from the best restaurants in the Sacramento region, they will be supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities. Continued from Part 1 A limited number of $150 tickets will be sold for a $1.7 million dollar, 4,900 square foot custom Mediterranean Villa situated in beautiful Granite Bay. The grand prize winner may also choose to take home $1.2 million dollars in cash as opposed to the House. The proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California, providing support and housing to families whose children face life-threatening illnesses. The Grand Prize Drawing for the Raffle will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010. Tickets will not be sold after May 14, 2010. Tickets may sell out before that time. The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House is devoted to providing comfort and support for families who desperately need assistance as they try to maintain strength and hope in the face of their medical crisis. Each of these families come from a different background and has children suffering from a multitude of illnesses and injuries. Regardless of the situation that led them to their stay at the House, the common thread among these families is that they each need a safe and stable place to rest and re-group.
