Kidz Art for Kids Clothes

Most of us think of art as something done on canvas. On Friday, April 20 Monica Gibson Constancio, in her own way, used children’s wear as her canvass to debut a beautiful line full of artistic creations with vibrant colors. “Kidz Art for Kids Clothes” was held at Creative Vera Studio located at 1200 S Street. FUSE Apparel and Possibility Publishing & Entertainment (T2PS) presented the event attended by guests of all ages creating a fun family atmosphere. Most of the children appeared to be less than 10 years old and had energy to burn. Several art stations were set up at the studio and children worked on their own to create their masterpieces. Big Party 2011

A “Big Party” was celebrated this past Thursday in Midtown Sacramento. The Big Party was Artober's red carpet event held at The Next Door B&L Mulvaney's located at 1215 19th Street. Approximately 150 people attended the event. The Big Party was put together to celebrate the 2011 Transformational Leader Awards party and was hosted by Tracy Saville and T2 Performance Solutions. The event featured writers, photographers, performers, leaders in the Sacramento community and artists. T2 Performance Solutions Launch Celebration

A Grand Opening for T2 Performance Solutions was held this Friday at the Urban Hive on H and 20th Street. This Launch Celebration included music by Clemon Charles and Michael Wilson. Featured artist was Raphael Delgado. Delicious food was provided by Mulvaney’s B&L and Perry Creek Winery provided several fine wine selections. Art drive brings resources to Stanford Home for Children

Rarely will you be solicited for a used toilet paper roll, but perhaps you’ll hand one over for the sake of art. What else are you going to do with it? The third annual Crayons to Canvas Art Drive is accepting art supplies of all varieties this month as organizers work to supply the Stanford Home for Children’s new art therapy room. Begun in 2008 by the sibling duo of Sacramento artist Raphael Delgado and publicist Veronica Delgado, the drive provides resources for an art-based therapy approach for at-risk youth. Festival de la Familia 2010

Looking for delicious food and nonstop entertainment this weekend? The 19th annual Festival de la Familia will be taking place Sunday at Cal Expo.
