Shortly after midnight this morning, a weapons incident resulted in a large police response in the post Second Saturday crowd partying on the 2700 block of J Street.  Eight or more police cruisers and unmarked cars were double parked on 28th Street from J Street and down the alley behind Centro, Blue Cue and Aura.  A suspect was identified but not arrested.  Revelers at the several bars and clubs on the 2700 J Street block seemed oblivious to the large police presence and partied on.
