Midtown residents asked Sacramento city staff for a solution to the lack of parking spaces available to renters and owners at Monday’s Neighborhood Advisory Group (NAG) meeting. Sacramento City Councilman Robbie Waters wants to advance public safety in his district by bolstering neighborhood associations and watch groups. Waters, a former Sacramento County sheriff, said that public safety is his top priority for the year. The Sacramento Press is publishing a series on the 2010 goals of members of the City Council. I live in the natomas area, so i'm right off of truxel. My neighbors house got robbed just yesterday 12.17.08. The home owners were so angry and devastated that their safety deposit box was stolen, the break-in was told to have gone on in daylight, and robbers are getting bolder every day. Our neighborhood has started a neighborhood watch program, but it really has not been put into full act yet, we have only had one meeting. There are so many kids that live in the area of Natomas that run around every day and are in dangers eyes.
