Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Kings would receive forward Darnell Jackson and a future second-round pick in return. Brockman, 23, was extended a qualifying offer by the Kings, but he never signed the offer, missing all of the Kings' summer league action in Las Vegas. The 20-year-old Chester, Pa. native became the first Kings player to win a postseason award since Bobby Jackson won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2003 and the fifth rookie in franchise history to win the ROY award. After missing five games because of a concussion sustained March 19 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Tyreke Evans returned to the Sacramento Kings' starting lineup. The rookie guard has averaged 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game in his three games since returning.  His scoring has taken a hit this week with his fifth single-digit scoring night of his rookie season on Saturday. After sustaining a concussion when the Milwaukee Bucks' Ersan Ilyasova inadvertently hit him with an elbow, he sat out for three games before practicing last Thursday in Boston. When Evans complained of a headache at practice, the team ruled him out for the next two games. The Kings (24-50) have not done well since Evans' injury, compiling a 1-4 record since then. Sacramento Kings rookie guard Tyreke Evans will miss the next two games after complaining of a headache during today's practice in Boston. Evans sustained a concussion last Friday at home when Milwaukee Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova hit him in the head with an elbow late in the fourth quarter. Evans has missed three games so far and will miss tomorrow's game against the Boston Celtics and Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Swingman Francisco García has started in Evans place for the past three games. The Kings are 1-2 since Evans was injured, including a loss to the New Jersey Nets, the team with an NBA-worst 8-63 record.

While many sports fans were glued to their television sets to watch coverage of the NCAA basketball tournament, it was March Madness in Arco Arena on Friday as well. The Sacramento Kings battled the Milwaukee Bucks in exciting fashion, but, despite great effort by the Kings, they lost 114-108 in double overtime. The Kings and Bucks exchanged leads throughout the game, but late in the fourth quarter the score was 95-95. The atmosphere was electric during the final seconds as with fans chanting “DEFENSE, DEFENSE!!” Other fans yelled at players to make a 3-pointer for the win.  Kings rookie guard Tyreke Evans underwent x-rays and a CAT scan Saturday morning to re-examine his jaw, injured during the latter portion of Friday night's 114-108 double overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. No fractures were found during Saturday's examination and Evans will be re-evaluated Monday. The Kings left today for Los Angeles to meet the Clippers Sunday afternoon and will return in the evening in preparation for Monday's night's game at Arco Arena against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Kings announced in a release that Evans also suffered a slight concussion in the collision with Milwaukee's Ersa Ilyasova.

Evans suffered a concussion and some facial lacerations during the fourth quarter of Sacramento's 114-108 double-overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks before a stunned crowd of 12,098. Evans went down during a wild scramble for a loose ball underneath the Kings basket with 27.3 remaining in regulation following a shot attempt by Kings forward Carl Landry.
