If you’re going to remove the sound from a film, you’d better do it right. Not being able to hear what people are saying is very odd and kind of disconcerting, especially for a modern audience. Luckily for The Artist, there is a way to make it work, and work fantastically at that. Not a lot to say I guess. I grew up on comics & abandoned them for girls & music as a teenager. I rediscovered them a few years ago & started making my own. Besides the comics I also make music, run a record label, & paint. Question: Why small comics, why not regular sized comics? I think the mini-comic format has a lot more physicality to it.
