Midtown Sacramento Grocery Outlet Set to Open Friday After Building Permit Problem Delays Open by One Day

A Capitol NewsLink camera was outside Grocery Outlet at 1700 Capitol Ave early Thursday afternoon as a steady stream of potential customers waited outside the closed doors. One unsigned city permit apparently was holding up the well publicized opening scheduled for 7 a.m. Shortly after noon a crowd of about 50 to 70 had gathered while officials from the Berkley based Grocery Outlet were on hand to answer questions from the eclectic crowd ranging from seniors to state workers, local residents and a couple of vocal street people. Deep Well Offers Renewal Between Work and the Weekend

On Friday, February 26, First United Methodist Church welcomed in seventy five people for the very first “deep well” experience.
