Early morning pursuit of a stolen vehicle ends in a light pole. If you live in the South Sac, Freeport, South Land Park or Greenhaven areas and heard a whole lot of sirens early Sunday morning, that was our local police and sheriff chasing a stolen vehicle. The suspect lead law enforcement officers on a tour of the South Area at speeds reaching 60 mph. While you may think that this is putting the community at risk, what you don't hear behind the scenes are the officers constantly calling in direction, speeds and amount of traffic.
