After six years at the helm of Deep Art and Yoga on H Street, the first yoga studio in Midtown, owner Christine Sukhbir Kaur Collins is passing the space on to Tyler Langdale, owner of Yoga Shala. Though she won’t own the space any longer, Collins will continue to teach Kundalini yoga, which emphasizes focused breathing, meditation and chanting, at Yoga Shala two nights a week. Now, at the hands of new co-owners Christine Collins and Julio Peix, the restaurant is preparing for its greatest modification yet. Plans are to unveil the establishment under it new management April 1. Collins, owner of Deep Art and Yoga at the corner of 21 and H for the last five years, has a new vision for the eatery where she has been a longtime patron. Being a regular of the breakfast crowd, Collins said she appreciates the existing menu. However, she would like to infuse her holistic lifestyle by changing the quality of the ingredients.
